The material is an elastic fiber called spandex, which is quite stretchy and is used in power stone bracelets, etc.
Elastic thread is soft, so you cannot thread it through small beads unless you thread it through a wire needle like the one in the picture.
If you thread it through beads with narrow holes that are not designed for power stones, the fiber bundles will easily come apart and break, so it is best to thread it through slowly.
